The first wine to be a part of my Magnolia Mission to find the best Chardonnays under $10 is the Robert Mondavi 2009 Napa Valley Chardonnay I picked up at Total Wine. I was pleasantly pleased with this selection; especially for the price!!
The winemaker’s notes state that the wine contains delicate flavors and poached pear and peach; as well as coconut and creme brulee.
For Miss Magnolia, on the nose I got the aroma of a fresh baked peach covered in cream!!
My palate took in the flavors of pear with a slight hint of coconut on the finish.
I love it!
I will be at Total Wine today to pick up another selection for my MM!!
