Wine Review: Dry Creek Vineyard Dry Chenin Blanc

I have to make a semi-confession.  The reason that I have not been as active with this site is because I will not be able to drink wine until May or so due to circumstances beyond my control! LOL!  So that makes blogging about wine a little difficult. However, I can’t help myself.  I love wine and everything about it.  So, I have enlisted the hubby to fill in while my taste buds are absent!!
I still have the urge to buy wine every time I step into one of my favorite stores.  My most recent stop was to Nugget Market.  I was supposed to be there for groceries for dinner, but I could not help myself!!  I picked up the newest edition of The Wine Press to see what new wines Nugget was recommending for the holiday season.  The first wine on the list caught my eye.  Dry Creek Vineyard Dry Chenin Blanc.

Although referred to as dry, it has a very fruit-forward aroma.  According the hubby, the taste is an equal match.  Very juicy with the perfect balance of acidity!! Definitely a wine to try and keep stocked for dinner and guest.  Although I cannot drink it yet, I have my bottle waiting on standby!!
Enjoy and Smoochez!!!!
