Wine Review: Starting Again……………..

Life for me has been incredibly BUSY!! Full time job plus three kids plus husband equals three FULL TIME JOBS!!
I have not taken a break in a long while. This past weekend, my hubby and I attended his high school reunion at a hotel in Oakland, CA. It was at that moment that I realized how long it has been since we have had real time to ourselves. Then I think of how long its been since I have been to a wine country of any sort!!! I have a Sonoma Valley passport that gets me complimentary tastings and great deals on wine at several wineries throughout the valley, and I haven’t used it yet. Hubby is an avid golfer and I can’t recall the last time he was out on the course. Our weekends have become a blur. Between tending to the kids and doing chores, we are too pooped to do anything else.
I don’t want to be that way. We have to do a better job at managing our lives. Having a full time job and a family doesn’t have to mean you have no life. If I love wine country, I should be there at least once or twice a month. If he loves to golf, then he should be on the course at least a couple of times a month. What is the point of working so hard if you don’t get to enjoy your life?
So, 2014 is destined to be a new lease on life for me. I am looking to make some serious changes in all aspects of my life.
What am I drinking right now?…………..Horse Heaven Hills Columbia Crest 2010 Lex Chevaux Red Wine.

So amazingly rich in dark fruits! The tannins are very mild!! Great blend of Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah grapes. Enjoy!!!
