Wine Review: Blowing the Dust Off…….Mount Veeder Cab

I’ve been holding on to this one for a couple of years. I received it through my membership with Franciscan Winery. It came with a Reserve Cab from Mount Veeder that I am saving for a really special occasion!
I was not sure what to expect once I opened it, as I have never tasted anything from this winery before. My palate was pleasantly surprised by the dark berry flavors with a good oaky notes. The tannins are distinctive but not overwhelming.
A great Cab. I’m glad I decided to take it out of the cellar and dust it off!!
