1st Annual Oakland Wine Festival

Mills College in Oakland, CA is the host site for the first annual Oakland Wine Festival, scheduled for July 18th.  Celebrated wine and food writer, and Mills College alum, Melody Fuller, is the founder of this fantastic event.  The festival will bring together some of the top wineries throughout Napa, Sonoma, the East Bay and beyond.  Guests will also have access to some of the most sought out Bay Area chefs with wonderful delicacies, sure to enlighten the palate.  Merging the best of wine country with the best of the Bay Area, this festival is sure to boost Oakland’s rich culture and be a stand-out event that you won’t want to miss.

Over the past few months, the festival has hosted a series of kick-off parties to help gear up for the grand event.  The next one is scheduled for this Tuesday, July 7th at Rosenblum Cellars in Oakland.  This Winemaker Awards and Kick-Off party will honor winemakers Victoria Coleman, Theodora Lee, Vanessa Robledo and Kent Rosenblum.  Click Here to purchase your tickets.

Guests of the main event on the 18th will take part in a variety of specially planned opportunities, not only to taste great food and wine, but to also interact directly with the winemakers.  From winemaker panels and seminars to intimate, seated luncheons and grand tastings, everyone in attendance is a VIP with access to a world-class experience.
