Since the spring season is among us, I decided that I wanted to do a tasting of some varietals I am looking forward to sipping during the warm months. I chose to start with Sauvignon Blanc. I selected three wines, each from the vintage 2013, and all from different California wine regions. I asked my Partner-In-Wine to join in the fun.

Although I enjoyed them all, my #1 pick was the Markham Vineyards. The flavors just seemed to burst from the glass. Hubby’s #1 pick was the Hanna. I have since returned to Nugget Market to replace our very quickly emptied bottles. All of the wines were fabulously priced under $20.
